Another busy week finished. Ready with Föö poster and Saison Mutante. First one is Poster/Sticker/Flyer design for absolutely new event in Estonia, where party meets photso session. Thought that as this event cointains a lot of flashes, I should make poster as simple and catchy as possible. You can find some more information Here

Another project with what im a bit of situated is 10th Student and Short Film Festival Sleepwalkers. There will be small alternative poster exhibition, where different grapghic design student make their own versions of Animated Dreams and Sleepwalkers pieces. I picked Delphine Chauvet and Jimmy Audoin animation Saison Mutante. Basically I started with one idea with my tablet and had some fun. Here`s a sneak peak

Finished with new "Sin City" flyer/poster. Recently I started to write down my thoughts, during "working progress". Se here is what I wrote on doing that:

26.May, im doing just another "Sin City" flyer. This time I thought to try to solve the composition and the whole desing, as "UK dnb style" as possible. To be honest for me it`s really boring, I mean regular dnb flyers, but as Im always doing my style, thought it would be good task. WIll listen some Portishead and Tricky tracks. Started with classical pink/black colour scheme. Downloaded some Photoshop free patterns (Diagonal lines). The thing is that everytime, I start project, I start finding new materials. I just don`t collect or archive things in need, its stupid, but I like that theres possible to find new ideas in the internet. Have to be creative, I hate those "regular design fags". Now im listening to Pixies, random tracks from yutbe. damn, it`s such a good feeling if something works good. Checking Ebay, theres a DVD "Daft Punk: D.A.F.T. - A Story about Dogs, Androids." hmm. it`s 3:01 AM and im practically ready.

Lots of people don`t know that im also a dj. For 7 years now. I started 2002, when I bought my first vinyl Roni Size Reprazent "In the Mode LP", it happened on the 7th of january. After that I started practising and started playing in a small shelter/club "Varjend 2000", where I first played alongside with dj Studious and Methodik, mainly dnb and jungle. After few years I also tried to grow my specter with different styles. For now I have played in the biggest clubs in Estonia. Im a resident in "Roll&Bass", "Neljapäev With Lazers" and "Fried Funk" party series. If ya ever come to Estonia, let me know, maybe there`s a good gig going on.

Here`s some my thought, when I was doing it:
Doing Double Trouble flayer. As Im doing this particular party series, I coulnd nrefuse for another chance. I basically had only 4 hours with that, but as always I figured out. Firstly, this time theres 4 dj-s all of them are female, so I thought about Femme Fatale. First I started with Wonder woman style, as I didnt want to do some "electro, bla,bla stuff". Theres the colours. Blue and Red. Basically added stars, but not in that lousyt way as they to atm in the world, during designing i came up with Circus theme, as its hot atm, even Britney Spears uses that. Wonder woman first came in to the comics the start of 40s, so I also gave it a little 40s twist. Pretty happy with the result. Added some nice text: "Warning Amazonas!"

I usually don`t like T-shirt contest, but I thought to give it a try, 3 times I have tried to make something for threadless, but the score as been below average. The main thing about T-shirt competition is concept, for myself the main idea is to have Tee, which has more than just some clichee message.
